Weasel WalterComposer and musician Weasel Walter founded the band The Flying Luttenbachers in Chicago in 1991. Walter relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2003, where he reformed the Luttenbachers, remaining on percussion and reforming the band with the addition of bassist Mike Green (Burmese), and virtuoso-guitarist Ed Rodriguez (ex-Colossomite, Gorge Trio). The current Luttenbachers lineup features the recent addition in 2005 of guitar phenomenon Mick Barr (Octis, Orthrelm). CURRENT MEMBER OF: The Flying Luttenbachers XBXRX Curse of the Birthmark HISTORY: Before relocating to the West Coast, Walter was a strong contributor to the Chicago no-wave and noise scene during the '90s and early '00s. During this period, he performed as a founding member of bands such as Miss High Heel (with Jim ORourke and Azita of the Scissor Girls), Lake of Dracula (with Marlon Magas and Heather M. of the Scissor Girls), To Live and Shave in L.A. 2, and Hatewave among others. Walter has collobarated with artists like Marlon Magas and Jim O'Rourke, Tom Smith in To Live and Shave in L.A.. Walter has collaborated with scores of influential noise, No-wave and glam-psych acts, including Bobby Conn, Cock E.S.P., The Scissor Girls, Erase Errata, Harry Pussy, Quintron, Misty Martinez and Cheer-Accident.
