Wdve

WDVE is an FM radio station in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA at 102.5 MHz. It is often referred to by Pittsburghers as simply DVE. The station, formerly KQV-FM, has aired rock music since 1969. The station's call letters, chosen at the height of the "hippie" era, originally stood for "dove". The station has traditionally set their logo in white and yellow with red accents against a black background. In recent years, the station's format has gradually drifted towards "classic rock" with very few current releases incorporated into the playlist. The station is currently owned by Clear Channel Communications and also serves as flagship of both the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins radio networks.
