Watts Humphrey

development. Humphrey wrote the books
Capability Maturity Model

Managing the Software Process
and was a member of the
Software Engineering Institute
(SEI). Humphrey was previously a Vice President at
IBM
and founded the Software Process program in SEI. He introduced the disciplines of the
Personal Software Process
(PSP) and the
Team Software Process
(TSP). The Watts Humphrey Software Quality Institute in
Chennai

is named after him.
