Water Pressure

Water pressure is the pressure in any system for supplying water, usually a domestic water system. The pressure is usually provided either by gravity acting on reservoir located above the rest of the system, or by gas pressure (since water, like most liquids, is incompressible, in an enclosed reservoir (called a pressure tank), with the pressure being produced by means of a pump.
