Washington Legislature

The Washington Legislature is the state legislature of the U.S. state of Washington. It is bicameral, and is composed of a Senate and House of Representatives. There are forty-nine districts in Washington, each of which elects one senator and two representatives. There are thus forty-nine senators and ninety-eight representatives in the legislature. The legislature is the legislative branch of the government of the State of Washington, and convenes in the capitol in Olympia, Washington.
