War At Sea

War at Sea was strategic board wargame depicting the naval war in the Atlantic during WWII pubished by Avalon Hill in 1977. Units represented in the game are individual ships of heavy cruiser size or larger. Each turn represents a roughly six month period. The board represents the Atlantic and Mediterranean oceans, divided up into six zones, control of which is the goal of the game. It was also the basis for the design of the later game, Victory in the Pacific.
