Wang Dulu

Wang Dulu or Wang Du Lu (1909 - 1977) was a Chinese author whose story Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was made into a successful film by director Ang Lee. Wang Du Lu was born in Beijing as Wang Bao Xiang. He was a quite prolific author of detective and romantic novels in the 1930s. In 1949 he stopped writing and became a school teacher.
