Walter Plowright

Dr Walter Plowright (1923-) is a vetinary scientist, he devoted career to the erradication of the cattle plague Rinderpest. His work led to the development of the Plowright vaccine, which is predicted to destroy the disease by 2010 http://www.fao.org/docrep/X3444e/x3444e05.htm, it will be the first animal disease to be eliminated worldwide.
