Walter Lantz

Walter Lantz (April 27, 1899March 22, 1994) was an American cartoonist and head of his own animation studio. He was born in New Rochelle, New York. He introduced the first Technicolor cartoons and created Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Andy Panda, Chilly Willy, and Woody Woodpecker. He died in Burbank, California of heart failure.
