Vlf Transmitter Criggion

The VLF transmitter Criggion is a VLF transmitter for 19.6 kHz near Criggion, Wales. It was established in World War II as backup unit for the VLF transmitter Rugby. It was used until its shutdown on April 1st, 2003 for transmitting orders to submarines. Its task is now done by the VLF transmitter Anthorn.
