Vladimir Lyakhov

Vladimir Lyakhov was born in Antratsit, Voroshilovgrad Oblast, USSR (now the Ukraine) on July 20, 1941. He was selected as a cosmonaut on May 5, 1967, and retired on September 7, 1994. He was the Commander on Soyuz 32, Soyuz T-9 and Soyuz TM-6, and has spent 333 days, 7 hours, 47 minutes in space. He is married, and has two children.
