Vladimir Jovanovic

Vladimir Jovanović (1833-1922) was a Serbian political theorist and politician. Jovanović was educated in Germany in agrarian and economic sciences. In Serbia he was professor of economics at Law school, minister of finance, and president of Serbian Scientific Society. He was a liberal thinker propagating individual liberty, national liberation, and education. Jovanović was influenced by John Stuart Mill and British parliamentary system.
