Vittorio Veneto is a city situated in Italy, in the region of Veneto, north-east of the Italian peninsula. In October 1918, it was the site of the last battle between Italy and Austria-Hungary during World War I, leading to the armistice between the two countries on the 4th of November. Prior to the unification of Italy in 1860, it was formed by Serravalle, the northern part, and Ceneda in the south.
