Viscount Stansgate

Viscount Stansgate is a currently-suspended title in the peerage of the United Kingdom that has had two holders. The second Viscount, Tony Benn, inherited the title in 1960, and disclaimed it in 1963 on the day the Peerage Act 1963 passed into law and made it possible for him to do so. The title was not destroyed and will reappear when Tony Benn dies, presumably being inherited by his son Stephen Benn.
