Viscount FalmouthThe title Viscount Falmouth has been created twice, first in the Peerage of England, and then in the Peerage of Great Britain. George Fitzroy was the beneficiary of the first creation; he was later made Duke of Northumberland, but he left no heirs, so his title became extinct at his death. The second creation was in favour of Hugh Boscawen in 1720. The fourth Viscount was created Earl of Falmouth, but the earldom became extinct upon the death of the second Earl.
