Vinny Castilla

Vinicio Castilla Soria, commonly known as Vinny Castilla cass-TEE-yah (born July 4, 1967 in Oaxaca, Oaxaca, Mexico), is a Major League Baseball third baseman who currently plays for the Washington Nationals. Previously, he played with the Atlanta Braves (1991-92, 2002-03), Colorado Rockies (1993-99, 2004), Tampa Bay Devil Rays (2000, 2001) and Houston Astros (2001). A huge favorite among Rockies fans, Castilla hit 40 home runs both in 1996 and 1997, 46 in 1998, and has compiled five 100-plus RBI seasons, leading the National League with a career-high 131 in 2004. In 14-season career Castilla is a .280 hitter with 303 home runs and 1012 RBI in 1625 games.
