They have been a regular fixture in the Primera Liga for many years and have recently signed Uruguayan striker Diego Forln. Their squad has also been bolstered with the presence of South American talents like Juan Pablo Sorin, Juan Roman Riquelme as well as former Spain striker Jos Mari. Their home uniform is yellow shirt, blue shorts and blue socks. They are nicknamed the los submarinos amarillos (the yellow submarines) because of their yellow shirts.
