Villa Vizcaya

Villa Vizcaya is an Italian Renaissance-style estate in Miami, Florida, United States. The villa itself holds a collection of 16th to 19th century European decorative arts and serves as a museum, with National Historic Landmark status. It is owned by Miami-Dade County and is accredited by the American Association of Museums. The property exists within ten acres of land on the Biscayne Bay. The building was built by James Deering who used it as a holiday home from 1916 to 1925.
