Vian-les-bains

vian-les-Bains or vian is a commune of France, in the Haute-Savoie dpartement. Population: 7,300.

Geography

vian is located in the northern part of the dpartement, on the shores of Lake Geneva, opposite of Lausanne, Switzerland.

The Evian Accords were signed there on March 18, 1962. On June 1, 2003 the G8 began a summit meeting in vian.
