Veronica Campbell

Veronica Campbell (born May 15, 1982) is a Track and Field sprint athlete, competing internationally for Jamaica. She is a three-time Olympic medalist. Campbell attends the University of Arkansas where she stands out as a sprint star in a program dominated by long-distance runners. In 2000, she was a member of the 4 x 100 meter relay team the won silver at the 2000 Summer Olympics for Jamaica. At the 2004 Olympics she first placed third in the 100 meters and two days later won the 200 meters, beating out Allyson Felix of the United States. She later teamed up with Aleen Bailey, Tayna Lawrence, and Sherone Simpson to win the 4 x 100 meter relay race.
