Vasile Miriuta

Vasile Miriuţă (Baia Mare, October 19, 1968); Romanian-born Hungarian soccer player who played in Germany for Energie Cottbus, and currently plays for MSV Duisburg. This midfielder played 5 matches for the Hungarian national team, in which he scored 1 goal. Famous for his free kicks, and tactical cleverness, he promoted with Energie Cottbus in 2000, but was released at the end of 2002 despite having been an important player for the club.
