Valid TimeValid time is a concept used in temporal databases. It denotes the time period during which a database fact is/was valid in the real world. In a database table valid time is often represented by two extra table-columns Start and End. The time interval is closed at its lower bound and open at its upper bound. See also: Transaction Time.
