valet (dict)

Valet

A valet or gentleman's gentleman is a man's male servant. The valet performs personal chores such as maintaining his employer's clothes, running a bath and perhaps shaving his employer. In a great house, the master of the house has his own valet but in a smaller residence the butler may double as his employer's valet. In a bachelor's residence, the valet may perform light housekeeping chores as well. A valet can also mean a valet as in valet parking. The valet parks the car for the driver.
