Vagbhata Elder

Vagbhata, the Elder, lived in second century BC. He is the author of the Ashtānga Sangraha. The works of Charaka, Sushruta, and the Elder Vagbhata are considered canonical and reverentially called the Vriddha Trayi, "the triad of ancients."
