Band Information

V is a UK five-piece boy band consisting of: The band member Antony came up with the band name V because there are five members in the band and V is the Roman numeral for fire. V made their debut supporting, along with McFly, Busted's arena tour in the spring of 2004.

Singles

Their first single "Blood Sweat & Tears" released on the 24th May 2004 went into the official UK singles chart at number 6. The video was shot in Miami in February 2004 and the single contained a collaboration with their friends McFly, called "Chills in the Evening" written by Tom Fletcher from McFly and James Bourne from Busted. The band's second single, released on the 9th August 2004, was a double A-side consisting of a new song "Hip To Hip" and a cover of the Jackson Five's song "Can You Feel It" and charted at number 5 in the UK official singles chart. The third single to be released on 8th November 2004 is a ballad called "You Stood Up". Their debut album is due to follow later in November.
