Uxbridge Vine Street

Uxbridge Vine Street (Grid reference: ) was the first of Uxbridge's three railway stations to open, and was the terminus of the GWR broad gauge single track branch line from West Drayton. Cricket Field Road now covers its site. The branch was re-gauged to standard gauge in October 1871. Double tracks were installed the following year. An intermediate stop at Cowley was added in October 1904. The branch was used to provide a connection at West Drayton to the GWR main line for the branch line from West Drayton to Staines West; this latter opened in November 1885.
