Utf-2000

The UTF-2000 character encoding project is a proposed alternative for Unicode. UTF-2000 was proposed because of a controversy over Han unification, and aims to avoid the controversy and perceived problems with it. However, as of 2004, adoption of this proposed counter-standard is nearly non-existent, possibly because most people see no problem with Han Unification.
