Uss Sims

Three ships in the United States Navy have been named USS ''Sims'' for William Snowden Sims. Additionally, the transport vessel Admiral W. S. Sims (AP-127): laid down June 15, 1944; launched on June 4, 1945; commissioned September 27, 1945, decommissioned June 21, 1946.
