Uss Fgs Rommel (Ddg-30)

USS Shea (DDG-30), named for Lieutenant Commander John Joseph Shea USN killed in action board USS Wasp (CV-7) when that ship was sunk on 15 September 1942, was a Charles F. Adams class guided missile armed destroyer laid down by the Bath Iron Works at Bath in Maine on 22 August 1967 and completed as Rommel for the West German Navy.
