Uss Annapolis

• The first Annapolis (PG-10) was a gunboat commissioned in 1897 and in periodic service until 1919, then used as a training ship until 1940.

• The second Annapolis (PF-15) was a patrol vessel in service from 1944 to 1946, and sold to Mexico in 1947.

• The escort aircraft carrier Gilbert Islands (CVE-107) was converted to a communications relay ship and renamed Annapolis (AGMR-1) in 1963, serving in that role for several years.

• The fourth Annapolis (SSN-760) is a Los Angeles-class attack submarine commissioned in 1992 and on active service as of 2004.
