Uslar

Uslar is a small city in southern Lower Saxony, Germany. It is located in the district Northeim, in the hills of the Solling mountains (part of the Weserbergland). Population 16,050 (2003). After WWII Uslar became the new home of a large part of the popular Trakehner horses from Trakehnen, East Prussia. The major industry of the city is the furniture industry.
