Usenet FreeWhy would someone need a free news server? There are many reasons including: - Their isp does not provide a news server;
- Their isp server is poorly run so it misses a lot of articles, posts don't propagate well, new groups don't get added, etc.
If the individual is only intersted in text aricles and not binary posts, there may be a number of solutions that are available. See the following table for a list of servers that are intended to be publically available and free.
