Ursula Haubner

Ursula Haubner (born December 22, 1945) is an Austrian politician of the Austrian Freedom Party. Haubner was born in Bad Goisern, Upper Austria, to enthusiastic Nazis, and took her Matura exams in Bad Ischl in 1963. A former teacher, local politician, and a member of government (Staatssekretrin) since February 2003, she was appointed Federal Minister of Social Affairs in January 2005, succeeding Herbert Haupt, whom she had already followed as party chairperson in June 2004.
