Urban Geography

Urban geography is the study of the history of urban settlement, the development of cities, urban structure, spatial patterns that occur within the city, as well as urban problems and policies. Urban geography forms the theoretical basis for a number of professions including urban planning, retail store site selection, real estate development, crime pattern analysis, logistical analysis, among others.
