Upper St. John River Valley
The
Upper
St. John River
Valley
is a region in the
Canadian
province
of
New Brunswick
. It consists of the communities within the St. John River Valley
north
of
Fredericton
and, as such, encompasses northern
York County
, and nearly the entirety of
Carleton
and
Victoria
counties
and a small part of
southern
Madawaska County
where the river begins to form the
border
between Canada and the
United States
. The major communties of the valley are
Woodstock
and
Grand Falls
.
