Up2date

up2date is a tool created by Red Hat for Red Hat Linux and Fedora Core that downloads and installs upgrades to the operating system. Upgrades in Red Hat Linux require that the user have a subscription to the Red Hat Network; however, the version distributed with the newer Fedora does not require such a membership. The Fedora Core version can be configured to use apt and yum repositories.
