University Of Michigan-dearborn University of Michigan, Dearborn The University of Michigan-Dearborn, located in Dearborn, Michigan is part of the University of Michigan system. It was established in 1959 after a gift of 196 acres from the Ford Motor Company. On the campus there is approximately 70 acres of nature preserve. The campus also houses the Henry Ford Estate. The school serves as a 'commuter' school to the metropolitan Detroit area and does not have any student housing. It offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in Arts and Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, Education, and Management. The school is very good for areas such as Engineering and Business.
