University Of Maine At Farmington

The University of Maine at Farmington is a Public Liberal Arts College located in the town of Farmington which is nestled in the foothills of "the western mountains" of Maine. In 1863 UMaine Farmington became the first public institution of higher education in the State of Maine. Farmington is located in Franklin county which is surrounded with numerous lakes, streams, ponds, mountains and wildlife. Farmington is approximately 40 miles from Augusta, the state capital.
