Universidad De Buenos Aires

The Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) is the biggest university in Argentina, founded on August 12 1821 in the city of Buenos Aires. It consists of 13 faculties, six hospitals, 10 museums and two high schools, Colegio Nacional de Buenos Aires and Escuela Superior de Comercio Carlos Pellegrini. Despite its size, the UBA has no central campus. Even though plans existed for an centralized 'university city', it currently holds only 3 faculties with all other faculties sparsed through the city. The campus (Ciudad Universitaria) is located in Nuez, in the north of the city of Buenos Aires. It is close to Jorge Newbery Airport and River Plate Football Stadium.
