United Kingdom Hydrographic Office

The United Kingdom Hydrograhic Office (UKHO) is located in Taunton, Somerset, in a location half buried into Beacon hill. UKHO attracted worldwide attention in February 2005 when it published in-depth pictures of the ocean floor in the vicinity of the Indian ocean tsunami disaster of December 26th 2004.
