United Front (India)

The United Front was a coalition of political parties which formed India's government between 1996 and 1998. Led by the Janata Dal, their two Prime Ministers were H. D. Deve Gowda, and Inder Kumar Gujral. United Front was chaired by Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. Another United Front in Indian politics was the coalition that held two governments in West Bengal 1967-1971.
