Undercover Brother

Undercover Brother is a 2002 comedy film that stars comedian Eddie Griffin. It was directed by Malcom D. Lee and was based on an internet cartoon series by John Ridley. It spoofs blaxploitation films of the 1970s as well as a number of other films. It also stars former Saturday Night Live cast member Chris Kattan and actress Denise Richards. Released on May 31, 2002, the film failed to break even. It grossed just over $38 million in the US but cost $20 million to advertise and $25 million to produce, totaling $45 million.
