In Malay, Pertubuhan Kebangsaan Melayu Bersatu (Malaysia) or UMNO Malaysia - a political party founded by Tunku Abdul Rahman, Hussein Onn and Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah in 1988 in Malaysia. The original UMNO was declared illegal by the High Court judge Harun Hashim after irregulartities were discovered involving the election of party officials in 1987. However, UMNO Malaysia's application for registration was quashed by Prime Minister and Home Minister Mahathir Mohamad, who set up his own UMNO Baru group.
