Ultraviolence

Ultraviolence, a one man group headed by a so-called angry man Johnny Violent, has been around since the early ninties producing music known to fans as Gabba, Gabber, Powernoise or simply Techno. Using instrumental synths packed with bass, female vocals and male rap vocals, Ultraviolence has a completely unique sound, while remaining "hardcore" and "fucking fast". He has also produced music under the name of Johnny Violent, an album called 'Shocker' which has a pure Drum'n'Bass/Gabba sound. Ultraviolence (also known as Team UVR) is especially popular with the cybergoth community of the UK, Hardcore Motherfucker being the most widely known track, which consists of a sample of a lady with a received pronunciation accent repeating "Hardcore Motherfucker" to what sounds like a bizzaire mix of the Unreal Tournament with a drum machine.
