Typhales

Typhales is an order (biology) of monocotyledonous flowering plants, including the family Typhaceae (bulrushes or cattails). Usually a second family, the Sparganiaceae, is recognized, but sometimes this taxon is treated as a subfamily of the Typhaceae. Some scientists put the plants of this group as part of the order Poales {grasses}.
