Twm Shon Catti

In Welsh folklore, Twm Shon Catti was called the Welsh Robin Hood. (born c.1530- d. 1609). He was born as Thomas Jones and lived in Rhandirmwyn. Though many considered him a criminal, the locals called him a hero. Most notably, he was said to have avoided harming an enemy by shooting him with an arrow that merely pinned his clothes to his saddle. His alleged hideout is widely known and is believed to be a cave on the banks of the Twyi River, at its swiftest and most dangerous. The cave is very difficult to find.
