twister (hack)

Twister is a hack for the computer game Continuum. It was actually created even before Continuum existed; it was designed for its predecessor, the Subspace client. Twister manipulated game data stored in memory to allow a player to abusively power-up his or her ship. Many long-time players allege that Twister's prevalence almost led to the end of Subspace. The Continuum client was created in response to Twister and other cheating programs.
