Tully Blanchard

2nd generation Pro wrestler. Former Heel. One of the original Four Horsemen with Nature Boy Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Ole Anderson, and manager James "J.J." Dillon. Former NWA U.S. Champion and NWA Television champion. Former "Southwest" territory champion. During his career, he had memorable feuds with Bruiser Bob Sweetan and deceased Gino Hernandez in the Southwest territory and deceased Wahoo McDaniel, the American Dream Dusty Rhodes, and deceased "Magnum" T.A. (Terry Allen). In the NWA Mid-Atlantic region, at one time, he came to the ring with valet "Baby Doll" (Nicola Roberts), a very intimidating female presence in pro wrestling for that time in the 1980s. Baby Doll would often help Blanchard in his matches against the good guys. He had great tag team success with Arn Anderson. He and the Four Horsemen were known for jet-setting and wining and dining women. His finishing move was the slingshot suplex during his Mid-Atlantic days. Son of former San Antonio wrestler and promoter Joe Blanchard, he initially started as a fan favorite in his hometown, but turned heel upon leaving for the Mid-Atlantic area. Blanchard,Tully
