Triumph Triple Motorcycle Engine

Triumph Triple - The motor that brought Triumph back from the grave. The 1st generation motor was an inline 3-cylinder, 885cc carburated 4-stroke (circa 1991). It was updated to a 955cc inline 3-cylinder with fuel injection for 1997. The current engine, now in its 3rd generation, is a fuel-injected 1050cc 3-cylinder inline 4-stroke. Triumph Motorcycles are manufactured in the UK and sold throughout the world today. They were resurrected from the grave by John Bloor. BiKE - the British Motorcycle magazine publication ranked the Triumph Triple as the #10 best motorcycle engine of all time. The Triumph Triple motorcycle engine has been used in the Thunderbird, Adventurer, Tiger, Speed Triple, Sprint RS & ST, Sprint Executive, Trophy, and Daytona motorcycles. Andrew 3-9-05
