Triplicate Girl is a superhero character in the DC Comics universe, and a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes in the 30th century. The character first appeared in the comics in the 1960s, later becoming Duo Damsel in one continuity, and Triad in another. In the reimagining of Legion of Super-Heroes that occurred beginning in 2004, the origins of Triplicate Girl were revised and the character was given her original name back. As revealed in the third issue of the new series, Triplicate Girl still comes from Cargg, as does Duo Damsel/Triad however in this version, she is the planet's only inhabitant. Her origin is a mystery. All she recalls is waking up alone amongst the ruins of her planet. After weeks of loneliness, she discovers that she has the ability to divide herself into two, then three, then six, then more individuals with a shared consciousness. Eventually, her entire planet was repopulated with duplicates of herself. When a United Planets craft arrives on Cargg, three of these duplicates are sent out as emissaries and subsequently join the Legion as Triplicate Girl. Unlike Triad, no distinction between her different selves has been established, and their costumes are identical.
